The worst flophouse where I spent the night: India House Hostel in New Orleans next door. The last cleaning lady who has since durchgefeudelt, has many, many years have died. No locks, no reception, no window glass. Only has multiple rooms in which smoking happily and Ashy on the floor. A "bath" for 30 people with 2 and 2 calcified showers clogged toilets - there it was better behind the house, just out of the window's disc-free and back in, the sporty type there has distinct advantages. And the kick at the end: The adventure cost only 17 $ a night. An unprecedented bargains.
